In other news… The faltering economy is starting to hit closer to home. Recently I came to discover that my already absurdly expensive hair cut now costs $2 more. Sure I can go elsewhere but my barber does a damn good job and is located less than 300ft away from my apartment building’s steps. The second recent sign better relates the direness of the current economic situation. $5.00 PBR. Yes that is what I paid for a 12oz can of PBR while partying in Brooklyn Saturday night. WTF right? I fully expect drink prices to be inflated a tad being NYC and all. But a $5.00 PBR??? Absurd!
