It’s hard trying to be optimistic these days; life’s kinda got me down. From politics and the economy, to my personal relationships, and professional endeavors… Everything seems to be going to hell in a hand basket!
I’ve been in reflective mode lately. However, I’ve had a difficult time making sense of all the thoughts and emotions; thus relating them has proven even more-so difficult. But today while surfing Facebook, I stumbled across this song that a friend of mine posted. I hadn’t heard it in a long while and probably never paid much attention to it’s substance… but, it’s definitely speaking to me now. And I think it captures my state of mind and being at the moment.

January 2010: Hoping For The Best
Yay for 2010 Y’all. I went on a bender right after Christmas, Party and Bull Sh*t, for 8 consecutive days. I seriously closed out 2009 and rang in the new year proper like! Now I’ve finally got my act right and put together another bangin’ mixtape for your listening enjoyment.
I’m not sure what this year will bring, but I’m hoping for the best.
