So my buddy Chad is getting married later this year… We went to The Men’s Warehouse to select tuxes and to help him shop for suites.

Song: ‘Nothing Without You’ by Mando Diao
As near record snow blanketed Philadelphia Saturday, me and a few friends got together for wine and games. I figured it’d be a good time for me to take the new camera out for a spin.
I also grabbed some footage out and about the town on Sunday. I’ll try and have that up later tonight or tomorrow.

While this isn’t a typical week it does encapsulate a lot of the things I’m involved with on an ongoing basis.
1) SAN Upgrades and Expansion (Now with 30+ TB, that’s 30,000GB… like whoa!)
2) Edit Updates, Final Cut Studio 3/Snow Leopard x 3(What a Pain in the arse!)
3) Rhozet Encoding Farm Reconfiguration (This is My Precious)
4) Closed Captioning Extraction Exploratory/Requirements Meeting
5) Begin Configuring Competitive Analysis Lab (Christmas Came Early)
6) Finalizing/Screening End of year sizzle reel. (It looks pretty damn good! Big ups to @cilantrocado. Too bad it’s confidential otherwise I’d post it!)
7) Un-boxing/Inventory of Production Equipment. (Ohhh, did I mention the Canon 7D? Whoot Whoot!)
7) National Product Launch (xfinity, yeah it’s kinda a big deal!)
So i discovered this gem via the @philtyblog and let me tell you… sheer goodness all around! Directed by Tim Brown of Colonel Blimp & Christopher Hewitt Knucklehead(uk) for the Berlin based producers Hecq & Exillion’s latest track Spheres Of Fury; this video portrays an action packed combat scene sans all the blood and gore. The directors’ inspiration…
“was born from a mutual love of 80’s war films. The bravado and attitude that pours from these movies is nothing but a treat to watch, our modern remake aims to capture some of those magical moments but with a slightly comical, modern stance.” - Tim Brown
I enjoyed pretty much everything about this video from the shots , to the editing to the color treatment. Add to this, the fact that it was shot on Canon’s new EOS 7D. I’ll be getting my mitts on one of these in the near future and when I do… Watch out!
