2009, We had such high hopes for you! And you came out the gates running, running hard too! And through the middle of summer, I have to admit… you held your own! But what in the fuck happend? You certainly didn’t finish! It’s unfortunate that you’ll be remembered for how you ended it all… You’re pathetic! And all’s i can think to say is… Good Riddance… Hello 2010!

So i didn’t really watch many movies this year which really disappoints me, so I won’t be posting my favorites for that category.  I do have to say that the video/meme of the year has to go to keyboard cat!

That said, It’s time to move on, but first here’s my annual retrospective.

Music:
I don’t care what anyone says, i don’t care what the sales figures show, or what concert attendances indicate; 2008 was a good year for music! 2007 got us dancing again, so it makes sense that 2008 was the year of the DJ. And boy are there a lot of them!  I think I know of more active DJs than of actual bands and artists. I mean seriously, for a white it seemed like there were 3-4 remixes for every song that came out. But guess what? I didn’t complain; I loved every second of it!
