It’s hard trying to be optimistic these days; life’s kinda got me down. From politics and the economy, to my personal relationships, and professional endeavors… Everything seems to be going to hell in a hand basket!
I’ve been in reflective mode lately. However, I’ve had a difficult time making sense of all the thoughts and emotions; thus relating them has proven even more-so difficult. But today while surfing Facebook, I stumbled across this song that a friend of mine posted. I hadn’t heard it in a long while and probably never paid much attention to it’s substance… but, it’s definitely speaking to me now. And I think it captures my state of mind and being at the moment.

Sometimes “i’d like to make myself believe that planet earth turns slowly” but truth is, time flies unbelievably fast! But it seems like 2003 was yesterday and The Postal Service was the soundtrack of our lives. Then there are day’s like this… they’re never ending. Oh well, such is life. I’ll just sit here at this cold desk and reminisce of the good days, passing the time until I can scream…. “The Weekend Has Landed!”
