Watch! MGMT - Kids
This video creeps the hell out of me. The kid’s parents should be investigated by child protective services for mental and emotional duress. I think I’m going to have nightmares tonight… Imagine what the kid is experiencing. He looks so terrified at moments! Definitely a different direction than I would have taken a video for this song. All in all, I’ll say its interesting but that doesn’t mean I like it.
Watch! BrotherSister - Still Run
Gasp. This video is amazing! I often see videos that clash rather than compliment, trying to upstage the music. Sometimes they do… but most often times they fail. This is an example of visuals that complimenting a song perfectly in every imaginable way. Below is the statement from Shilo, the creative visionaries behind the video…
The music for Still Run offers a haunting, multilayered, atmospheric mix with a steady, moving beat with but the lyrics say it all: “I still run, I still run, I still wander. In our day, everyday, we would wander. And I want to go, were nobody moves. Are you hearing something, don’t let me see you move.”
Hmmmm… Haunting, Multilayered, atmospheric, steady and moving. I’d say that description fits the visuals too. Precisely, my dear Watson!
Watch! I’m From Driftwood 2
Here’s the second video from I’m From Driftwood. If you’re gay I encourage you to write a story for the site as I believe every story is worthy of telling. My friend Nathan created the site for those…
that are others struggling to come out and deal with their sexuality, it says “you are not alone.” Other people have dealt with similar situations, families, communities and churches, and have overcome and are now living happy lives. It can happen for you, too. It gets soooo much better, I promise. Hang in there, kiddo.

Watch! I’m From Driftwood
My friend Nathan launched an awesome website called I’m From Driftwood where gay people share true stories about their life experiences. Since launching a month or so ago, he’s already amassed nearly 100 stories that range from laugh out loud funny, to emotionally touching. I was honored when he asked me to help him create original videos for the site. Below is our first crack at it… There will be more!
Watch! Matt and Kim - Lessons Learned
I never really bought into the whole Matt and Kim hype, but I do think this video is worth a mention. Talk about gutsy! Is it me or does Kim look like a dude? Especially with the AA briefs!
